SPEKE'S MILL BEACH VOTED No.1 SECLUDED BEACH IN BRITAIN

SPEKE's MILL BEACH on the HARTLAND PENINSULA has been voted No 1 secluded beach in Britain by the Times Newspaper in July 2015.

Just a stone's throw from Welcombe Coastal Barn on the South West Coast Path.  Speke's Mill beach has a spectacular 60ft waterfall and the dramatic rock formations typical of the Atlantic coastline around here between Hartland Point, North Devon and Bude in Cornwall.

The Times editorial reads "he North Devon Hartland coast in one of England's wildest and this large rocky beach is its most beautiful."

Welcombe Mouth, Sandy Mouth and Duck Pool are equally wonderful having identical features - waterfalls, dramatic folded rocks, cliff top walking, rock pools at low tide and swimming and surfing heaven!  Totally unspoilt natural beauty, wonderful waves and spectacular scenery.
